Delta Air lines fuel

Delta Air Lines has announced a plan to use sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to make up at least 95% of its fuel consumption by 2050. SAF is produced from waste or crops, with a process designed to offset much of the greenhouse gas emissions produced by planes. However, there are concerns that SAF production could lead to new environmental issues, and currently very little is produced. Despite this, SAF is currently viewed as the most viable alternative to fossil fuels for the aviation industry
