Democratisation of Technology and Connectivity as a Social Policy

My list

Catalonia will have the first open 5G laboratory that will serve the entire country, both urban and rural areas, and that will also be open to international initiatives. The project is born from the agreement between the consortium 5G Barcelona and Orange. The purpose of this agreement is to implement a laboratory in which to experiment with the latest IoT technologies and with 5G NR equipment for validating services in a 5G research and pre-commercial stage, in real environments and with a view to reducing project development times. Throughout this interview with the Minister for Digital Policy and Public Administration of the Regional Government of Catalonia, Jordi Puigneró, we will learn more about this program as well as its implications for Catalan and European citizens.
