U.S. MAYORAL ROUNDTABLE SPOTLIGHT SERIES | Housing Leadership

My list

This edition of the U.S. Roundtable Mayor Spotlight Series features Mayor Regina Romero of the City of Tucson and Mayor Rex Richardson of the City of Long Beach as Featured Mayors, in a forward-looking conversation on housing leadership, innovation, and the future of stronger communities. Hosted by Mayor Aftab Pureval and co-hosted by George Burciaga, the session brings together U.S. city leaders to explore the strategies shaping more inclusive and resilient cities.

Presented by the U.S. Roundtable in collaboration with Smart City Expo World Congress and Tomorrow.City, this special series was recorded during the U.S. Conference of Mayors Annual Meeting in Long Beach, California. It highlights mayor-led solutions addressing one of the most pressing challenges facing communities across America: housing.

The conversation explores how cities are advancing housing affordability, increasing housing production, revitalizing neighborhoods, strengthening public-private partnerships, and expanding opportunities for residents. Drawing on the experiences of Mayor Romero and Mayor Richardson, the discussion showcases innovative approaches to building stronger housing ecosystems and improving quality of life.
As communities navigate evolving urban challenges, this roundtable highlights the power of bold municipal leadership, collaboration, and practical solutions to shape the cities of tomorrow.

Launching June 22watch the full video series.
