The World Bank’s Global Smart City Partnership Program (GSCP) supports cities worldwide in harnessing digital innovation to become more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient. At Smart City Expo World Congress 2025, GSCP will highlight practical tools and knowledge to help governments and partners move their smart city agendas forward.

Our showcase features the World Bank Smart City Toolkit, a step-by-step guide to designing, financing, and implementing city-level digital transformations, as well as our work on cybersecurity frameworks to strengthen trust and resilience in digital public infrastructure.

GSCP will also present case studies from Johannesburg and Zagreb (in collaboration with IFC), illustrating how cities are applying smart solutions to urban challenges ranging from service delivery to climate resilience. Through workshops, peer-to-peer sessions, and knowledge exchanges, we will demonstrate how global and local expertise come together to support city leaders in accelerating digital transformation with impact.
