City Possible Summit 2021. Smart Resilience: Technology for a Disaster-Ready City

My list

For the unprepared city, an extreme event can bring daily life to a halt, put lives in danger and take a heavy toll on local economies. As climate change produces more frequent and more severe weather events, cities must learn how to adapt, and the COVID-19 pandemic has shown us how unprepared many cities were for a major health emergency. How can we leverage the latest technologies and methods to ensure that before, during, and after a disaster strikes, our cities continue serving residents?
